RE: Rega RP3

I never said that RP3 is not subjectively better sounding table thanks to better tolerances in parts and lover vibration from closely mounted motor.
What I was pointing out is that RP3 is actually cheaper to manufacture , the plinth is exactly the same , the question of quality may wary from table to table , mine was so, so to OK and if I have had already owned old planar 3 the "upgrade" to RP3 would not make any sense .Id just get aftermarket motor , sub-platter and rewire the arm and end up in RP6 category sound wise. I have no axe to grind here .Rega makes good entry level gear .
