Tom ,we always can make assumptions but the P9 was their best , no compromise whatsoever , all they could think off table they could make just a few years back. Was is the best in it's class ? Hardly anybody except Rega's hard core aficionado would have said that . To me and I have that table for 5 years it's not even particularly great table . How come after a few years just by refining the same ideas they are suddenly able to manufacture "best in the world" table whatever it means? It just doesn't add. BUT very rich people in really small apartments of financial center cities may buy into it.
