Since I don't have the turntable in front of me, trying to fix it would be near impossible. Have you tried the VinylEngine forum? Maybe someone there can be of more help.
The piece that you are pushing with your finger in the video pushes against a metal piece, maybe that piece or connecting pieces has been bent or a plastic connecting piece has been worn down? Too many variables to determine what is actually happening, especially since some of the moving parts seem to be under other parts. It could also be a timing issue with the plastic toothed gears.
