It is still tracking with 1.5 g VTF. Some SPU track with 3-4 g , I don't think there is any concern with record wear.Since the cart doesn't seem to be THAT compliant I don't think there is any danger to suspension either. I used quarters as a temporary measure . I'm going to cut a lead top plates to end up with something like 30g effective mass. Since most, all arms on the market are light/medium what else Grado would recommend? They are in business of selling the carts after all. Anyway, I had Grado Sonata (reference ) before and I truly hated it with Rega arm , now at least I'm getting some music out of this combo , and a very nice one ;with scale, some weight and grandeur.

- Grado specs the "woodies" at 20 X 10-6, fairly high compliance. - Opus 104 14:24:13 12/11/12 (0)
