Question RE: Garrard Lab 80 tonearm/cartridge compatibility

I am thinking of trading a friend for a Garrard Lab 80 turntable with it's original wood tonearm. The cartridges that I prefer to use are heavy, vintage units such as the Stanton 380, Pickering U38, original Pickering V-15, and Shure M3D. I understand the the Lab 80 tonearm would be considered a 'medium mass' arm. I have used these previously mentioned cartridges to great success with an old, heavy, Rek-O-Kut arm. I am not sure how they would work on the Lab 80 arm and I'm wondering if, because it's lighter, if there would be a mis-match or poor results.
