BFA Connectors

Hi Jerry,

When comparing speakers, amps or cables, banana plugs are so convenient and some of my cables came with soldered on banana plugs.

To adapt old amps to banana plugs, I use Deltron BFA connectors (Linn plugs) on the end of a 4" wire pigtail. These connectors are in-line female banana plugs with both the connector and the wire termination fully shrouded.

I think that your idea is great for anyone who is constantly changing their system and expects to keep the amp/receiver for some time. Although I haven't heard any difference in sound with my set-up, compared to connecting directly to the terminal, fewer connections in the signal path is better in principle so eventually I plan to do what you have done on amps that I will be using long term.

Regards

David
