Watson Model 10

Whoops! I hit the wrong button and inadvertently posted prematurely. Can't figure out how to get rid of it. Sorry about that!

Anyway
Is anyone familiar with the Watson Labs Model 10?
It was designed by Wm Wright (Dayton Wright) in the late 70s and is a complex 5-way cone speaker design (not electrostatic)that uses SF6 gas in the sub chamber. They are big, heavy, full range and fairly efficient. Not exactly a speaker to blend into the furnishings.

How good are they? Are they likely to be worth the bother of checking out in detail? Is the SF6 gas likely to have leaked by now and if so, what are the implications? Are the complex crossovers likely to still be fine.

Given their size, its not easy to move them around and check them out so any feedback would help me decide if its likely to be worth the bother.

David
