Oh well...

It dropped the left channel on phono twice... and then it came back on its own.

It seemed the longer it was on (the warmer it got) the muddier and more ill-defined things got.

Very odd.

I was into it for too much to justify a full rebuild and the seller was nice enough to take it back.

The search continues.
