RE: Test the bass response of your speakers............

Hi, Dave. Tricycle (Flim & The BB's) was a fav at the 'stereo stores' i knew as well. I don't know when Telarc did the Kije. Early on they used
a proprietary digital recording process dubbed Soundstream which was not
owned by them nor did it use any commercial gear. This was early in the
game. Likewise Flim & The BB's recordings were via the wonderful sounding
3M digital multitrack machine. Despite having a clearly superior digital
recording machine (imagine the R & D that went into it!) 3M abandoned
it altogether. Dr Thomas G Stockham of Utah was Soundstream's creator and the year was 1975. If you have not seen it get Alex Guiness directed and starred in The Horses Mouth. Kije used extensively. Tricycle still
heads the pack in providing dynamic range that defines the word jump.
