RE: Or

Somehow I didn't have luck with SDS PSU . I put one in perfectly working quiet Fischer 500c . Just wanted to be sure it will continue to work and I got a hum problem. Not a loud one , just audible and I couldn't solve the issue , funny before SDS on old caps the amp was silent. Second encounter was when I sold botched dyna ST 70. It was scary to look under the hood with spaghetti wiring and some old dog caps paralleled to multi section cap .The amp sounded magical and it was quiet as a mouse . I think it was one of the quietest tube amps I had pleasure to listen. So I, being a moron sold it and bought one with Uncle Ned board and SDS board , guess what it was humming little bit and no amount of tinkering seemed to solve the issue and it sounded nowhere near the first one (it was actually second I ever acquired ) I don't think I'm buying SDS board ever again . I simply lack the skill to make a quiet amp with it.
