Re: Fisher tuner opinions

The Fish 200 B is hard to beat for the $. Life is short and the FM 1000 is nice if you can find a clean unit. The variable selectivity of the MR78 is hard to beat but the MR67 and 71 sound great and are simular to the Fisher 200 B and FM 1000. The 10 B is worth the money for pleasing sound and luxury but will not pull the weaker stations like the MR 78. All of these need the hand of an expert to make sure they are up to spec after all these years. I have not tried the Scots but many people speak highly of them so they should be good.
