Lee, hi. I would first offer for sale the pieces just as they are with much detail about them and the tubes they contain. These things probably should be handled through an auction house but perhaps ebay is close enough. Certainly it reaches enough people. I would not be in a hurry to sell them as the right collector may not be an ebay hound trying to gobble up things at the lowest price. It might be a good idea to place a little display ad in any antiques publications you deem worthy. There are property houses which keep stuff to dress motion picture sets. Authenticity and appearance would be prized perhaps more so than whether a thing 'works' or not. Old microphones come to mind. In short, find ways to get the word out on these discoveries. An attempt to find the 'right' collector would pay the most dividends I should think. Then, and only then, would I part out the contents ie tubes. You can always resort to doing that but once you have done it there is no going back.
