jaynemo,hi. Here's something else that has not made it into 'print' as far as I know. During WWII American intelligence agents were unable to locate a clandstine rather high power transmitter used by NAZI agents to send information back to the fatherland. It was only discovered post war and much to the chagrin of the agencies involved. The transmitter was located in a barn in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. It operated on a regular basis with impunity for years. This little tid bit of war history was told to me by one of the agents involved on a lovely Spring evening in 1965.
