RE: Question about Dahlquist DQM 9 capacitors.

bullduck, hi. You can make composite caps to replace the electrolytics. Make sure your composites equal the originals in value. I suggest Solen (dry polypropylene), ASC (wet polypropylene), and any combination of Rel-Cap RTX (polystyrene and tin foil) or the other Rel film & foil types including TFT. Use TFT for ultimate hi freq bypass in the highest value you can afford for the composite mix. Download Michael Percy's pdf catalog as a reference and take notes on types. In my crossovers I have also used WIMA polypropylene and foil 10uF and Jenzen copper foil and oil types. I have also had good results with Mundorf in crossovers. The highest value I've used is 6.8 uF. Bank account permitting you could do all the crossover caps in TFT (Teflon & tin foil) but you'd probably have to take out a second mortgage. I use higher voltage rated caps because I think a 630 sounds better than a 250. Here is an example. I had to replace two 330 uF lytics. The composite became: 1 Solen 200uF 630, 1 Solen 100uF 630V, 10 WIMA 10uF stacked foil & polyprop, and a Jenzen 0.22 uF 630 copper foil and oil. Have fun and Happy Listening.
