Model Ninetween tweak ups

Ernie, hi. Yup, I changed out the Model Nineteens internal wiring from tinned multi-strand to solid core silver with Teflon tube sleeve. This is DIY wire. Wowser is it nice. AWG is 18 for the bass driver and about 22 for HF. I haven't replaced the output posts on the bottom of the speakers nor taken the dividing network outside the cabinet. I am running long leads from the crossover (with attenuators) to parts bundled at the bottom of the box. Am using ASC oil caps, Solen, Rel-Cap, i think this is all at present but am thinking about RU K-40Y. I found out a long time ago that I tended to blame the Model Nineteens for problems it revealed in upstream electronics etc. Hey, the speaker is only the messenger. It lays bare anything obnoxious in the signal. This is as it should be. Many speakers do just the opposite as I am sure you are already well aware.
