Hello to all. Mickey Samra is correct. The K40 is a remarkable capacitor. I wouldn't have believed it possible without hearing for myself. There are so many products out there and so many claims being made - this in addition to the hype, B.S., and razzle dazzle it is difficult to separate the signal from the noise. Well, hear this loud and clear. The RU K40 is a dissappearing act supreme and the prestige is the open clear unsmeared audio frequency that is allowed to pass through these things. I think they come alive when presented with some nice B+. The K40 must have cost the USSR plenty, that is if they are surplus. Somehow they are getting on the world market. Mickey Samra nagged me for months to try the K40 and I resisted. No ifs ands or buts, they are terrific. I am rethinking RC coupling deja vu all over again. Why? The K40!
