RE: Sounds like Scott tube integrated would float your boat

Some Scotts have a nice midrange bloom, but all of them that I've heard...which is most of the family including power amps....have a one dimentional, harsh, metallic flavor to the high frequencies that kill them for me. I do not like Scott amps. The ones I've owned that I liked most were the LK-48 and the original 299. These I found tolerable. For what it's worth, I can't listen to Klipsch speakers either....harsh, squawky, upper mids.
