B&W DM17

I would appreciate information on B&W DM17 speakers.
They are a solidly made "bookshelf" style acoustic suspension speaker in a rectangular case with a separate tweeter on top and are about the same size as an 805. They have good bass extension for their size, sound good on voices and seem to have some roll off at high frequecies but seem to handle everything I've heard on them pretty well.
1) I have found some info on a "DM-17 Limited" circa 82-86. Is a DM17 the same thing? If not, how do they differ?
2) What is their nominal impedance? Are there big impedance dips or reactive issues that might give matching problems? (I have not noticed any problems with my present amps)
3) If you have owned them, what did they replace and what if anything replaced them?
4) What do you see as their strengths and weaknesses?
Thanks for any help you can give.
David
