Re: cryogenic maple footer blocks.... frooking awesome !!!

I have sucessfully treated numerous DH cones as well as cones which were sampled by thier Canadian distributor and the factory boys in Vegas this spring. They turned out very well. The pucks on the other hand need kid glove treatment. Recently cryoed a dozen of them and they sound great but did suffer some cosmetic damage due to the difference in the expansion/contraction of the clear plastic top coat and the puck body which is as far as I know the same composition as the cones. With respect to graphite vs maple you'll have to try it yourself to find out. Regards Moray James.
