I have this strange habit of buying several brands of competing products and comparing them.
In my system, the PS outlet sounded fuzzy and "filtered".
FIM was OK, musical but not very alive.
The Cable Company Audio Grade outlet was OK too, but nothing to write home about.
The Acme cryo is outstanding for digital components and analog sources. It kinda "cleans" digital treble nasties. Its midrange is to die for. Bass is no slouch, very tuneful.
For hungry power amps, nothing beats a Hubbell 8300I hospital-grade outlet, in my system.
Better still, run a dedicated power line for digital + Acme and a dedicate line for the amp(s) + Hubbell.
BTW Acme Audio Labs sells cryo'd Hubbells, I have not tried those yet.
Good luck
Carlos
