You can look up Chemical Analysis services in the phone book. Sample analysis could cost as little as a few hundred dollars, or several thousands depending on the tests required for identification of unknowns. And after you do that, you can tell the rest of us what you found out.I have access to HPLC, GC/MS, AA, and cryogenic treatment equipment, but I could lose my job if I was caught using that equipment for this hobby, so I don't.
One warning: don't use Windex or other ammonia-based cleaners on CDs, as they damage the polycarbonate coating.
