My bust... I didn't realize that "cryogenic technics" meant cryogenic treatment followed by a return to room temperature. I thought the second sentence was simply a slightly more in depth explanation of the first."Why wait? Do your own research and testing and listen for yourself. "
It's the same reason that when I do a tensile test on a piece of metal I don't just hold my eye really close and try to see the results.
The end result is to try to make, i.e, planes that don't fall out of the sky, and the consumer doesn't need any instruments or measurements to realize that their plane isn't plummeting out of the sky; but I sure want to use them to develop the plane. An extreme example but in general, scientific research is considered part of product development for most companies.
Besides, it appears that SAP has hit upon something truly revolutionary; if they can secure a patent on this it will have wide applications outside audio and I predict they will become one of the world's richest companies.
cheers
