RE: That

Solder melts at about 350 F not 700 F. Let's say for sake of argument the end of the wire is heated to 350 F during soldering. it's only the end of the wire, the rest of the wire is not heated. So the argument that solderig somehow reverses the cryogenic process fails no matter how you look at it.

Of course I know the difference between -300 F and -40 F. Actually mist home freezers are closer to -20 F or even -10 F. That's precisely why I made the comment regarding home freezers. Duh.
