You might also want to consider the Synergistic Research Quantum fuse. I just tried one in my amp and was left spell-bounded. Could not believe such a remarkable, significant difference from such a thing and there aren't many who are more skeptical than me. Just to be sure I was hearing correctly I put it in and took it out three times and it's uncanny. As significant as replacing a power cord.
BTW, the SR fuse replaced a HiFi silver which had no where near the impact of the SR....
