You could bring the circuit wires out to Wiremold surface mount receptacle boxes, and run your circuit extension from that point in Wiremold surface mount metallic or non-metallic raceway. What exactly you can use will be determined by local codes where you live. 10 AWG conductors should be more than adequate, preferable stranded since its easier to work with.
