30A circuits using what receptacles may I ask ? I'm curious because a 30A receptacle is not compatible the AC plugs on consumer audio equipment, and you can't use a 20A receptacle on a 30A circuit (10 gauge wire/30A breaker). People often talk about how they installed 30A circuits. Even if you use 10 gauge wire but 20A receptacle and 20A breaker, the circuit will still be 20 amps.
