You can use x-rated caps across each outlet. I use Auricaps, which are not x-rated but have worked fine over the years (there's a whole lot of discussion on that issue at AA that I won't get into here -- do a search on Auricap if interested). Instead of those zinc-plated ring terminals with metal of questionable makeup for "signal path" connections, I use Audioquest or Vampire gold-plated pure copper crimp-on spades and relegate the zinc-plated connectors to use on ground terminations. I also agree with Duster; lose the rubber hosing.
