VH Audio ships the Oyaide R1 with free deep cryogenic treatment - it wasn't an option. They offer an optional 6 day conditioning on cable cooker - whatever that means - for an additional cost. The R1 was very easy to disassemble and put back together. I think that it is near impossible to install 8 or 10 gauge wire without doing so. No doubt others may be more skilled than me but what I eventually did was very easy. My only other option would have been to substitute a longer and non-cryoed screw.
