CD burning

I think that I have read that burning a copy of a red book cd will result in a cd that sounds better than the original, is this so?

Have any of you experimented with using a cryogenic treated blank disc?
I think Cryo Parts sells these.

Are there particular brands or color discs that sound better?

Are the Mobile Fidelity blank discs pretty good?

Would it be best to trim the blank on a Audio Desk lathe before burning?

Would it perhaps be best to polish with Mikro Smooth and Optrix before burning or after?
