You can't find "better than Equi=Tech" for less money. If you want a decent isolation transformer you have to be prepared to pay the price. There is no free lunch. The Avel Lindberg transformer I mentioned in my other reply is only $100.00, if you can get by with 800VA. In addition to the transformer and (GFCI)outlet, you will need a suitably rated circuit breaker or fuse. Medical grade transformers feature lower leakage current and other characteristics that are required for use in patient care facilities.
