I'm in complete agreement with you, Mike....that's been my experience over the last 6 years, whether it be receptacles, cabling, transformers, line conditioners, a couple of kit amps, etc. etc. Although not quite on point, another gent I'm aware of (who has also cryo-treated amplifiers and transformers) reported that the operating temperatures of the transformers lowered substantially after the cryogenic treatment (these transformers were individually measured before and after the treatment). This might have a relationship to the dropping of the noise floor as well, as there seems to be a more efficient signal path. Cryogenic treatment certainly removes voids in the material, as it is compacting the molecular structure, offering a 'cleaner' and 'straighter' signal path, much like the analogy of removing rocks from a stream.
