Having compared items frozen at "cryogenic" temperatures to those I simply put in my deep freeze, I did not find a major difference. Both were improved. I would suggest that before you pay for a "cryo" treatment you just try it yourself. Put the cables in a zip lock bag and put them in the freezer for at least one day. (There is a slight additional improvement if you go for two or three days or repeat the treatment again) Wrap them in a towel to insulate them and then put them in the refrigerator for a day. And then finally in a cool place for a day. To slowly bring them back to room temperature; this is the key. Anyway it is free and why not give it a try first?
