?????

Just a quick reminder: Nichrome is the standard wire for electric shower resistors and those cheap, bad-sounding "white cockroach coffin" power resistors.
Unless the manufacturer doped the Nichrome and came up with a novel alloy, I doubt that it sounds better than Riken Ohm or Tantalum.
It may be a quieter resistor, but that's another ballgame.
Quiet does not automatically equate with musical sound.

Each material has its own tone.
There are those who prefer Vishay's openess/transparency and those who prefer Riken or Tantalum for their musical tone.
Your decison must be based on your taste, not our taste.
Most audiophiles are either definition/detail fans or musical/PRAT/emotion lovers.
It is very hard to achieve high definition AND a natural tone/rhythm at the same time on a given circuit.
Your choice of tubes, resistors and capacitors will voice the amp one way or the other.
The few exceptions that I have heard cost a fortune: Wavelength, VTL's top-of-the-line amp, Jadis and Audio Aero tube amps.

All the above IMO, of course, my 2c only, :^)
