It actually DOES improve the sonics of copper & copper wire, in my experience. Do a Google for cryo companies' websites and they will explain the effects and why. Everything I have had cryo'd (R's, Q's, caps, IC's, etc. have resulted in very noticeably better sonics : greater clarity and resolution of fine detail not heard before, etc. If you cryo make sure it's done by a reliable firm in a proper cryo vessel (no direct contact with liquid nitrogen or other refrigerant).Happy Listening !
