I am sorry to tell you, but most well-executed cables beat the hell out of an MIT 330, it sounds veiled and cut-off both in the low and high frequencies.
This is my subjective opinion, based on auditions on four or five different systems.
My point is, those silver cables beat a dead horse :^)
MIT 330 was a good choice when digital was an unlistenable, ear-piercing experience.
Much water has passed under the bridge, nowadays there are many CD players that do not require cables as tone controls.
