I have samples of both pots in my "discarded projects" closet, the Black Beauty sounds fairly neutral.
The TKD sounds very good, maybe more open in the treble.
Dact is probably too brigh for your amp.I suggest that you upgrade the coupling caps to Jensen paper in oil (silver foil) and take a good look at the tubes and resistors.
Try to use NOS american or european tubes at least on the input and driver positions. Get rid of any metal film resistors; Riken or Kiwame resistors will do wonders.
Also, avoid silver plated hook up wires if you want smooth sound.
Good luck
Carlos
