This is supposed to be one of the 'secrets' to several cable manufacturers and at elast one power line conditioner.Tice supposedly uses a proprietary cryo treatment on their cables, and the power conditioners.
I have heard that XLO, Cardas, and several others also use some form of cryo treatments on their higher cost cables.
Outside of audio cables/components, I have heard of everything from disc brake discs, to brass instruments and cymbals, to knives and assorted cutting blades/saws to various engine parts being cryo treated.
