Try tantalum resistors, very clean sound, not warm or colored at all.
At least two of your mods tend to sound warm: Cardas caps and Jensen Caps. If I understand correctly, Bybees are high-frequency filters, too.
I would start by undoing the mods then replace cathode and plate resistors in the preamp and driver sections (small tubes):
Mills 12W on the plates and tantalum 1W on the cathodes. You will not regret it, these resistors sound just RIGHT, not warm or bright.
