I have used the wave-8's to drive my Heresy II's while my ST70 was being upgraded. In a moderate sized room (10X12), they have ample power (I could never go higher than about 2/3rds volume). They have a nice modern sound. I still prefer the presentation of the ST70, but I could be quite satisfied with the 8's. There are simple and inexpensive tweaks you can do for both your Heresy II's and the 8's that you can do to upgrade the sound at a later date.
