No, you wouldn't have to rewire anything on an Eico ST40
(or anything else that uses 7591A's) to use the ElectroHarmonix
7591A. The only exception would be if someone had modified the amp
to use 6L6's or 7591-XYZ, in which case you'd have to rearrange
things back to the way they were originally.A Dynaco ST70 (not an Eico ST70) uses EL34's, so to try using
7591's in *that*, you'd have to rewire the sockets and change some
resistors in the bias circuit at least. I don't know how well
7591A's would work in a Dyna ST70, but one of these days I want to
try it & find out, just for grins ;-)
