Eico ST70 opinions?

Hi everybody,
someone here in Germany offers me an Eico ST70 for about 280,-$. Is this a good alternative for the ZenAmp, which would be my favourite concerning new gear?
I am not very familiar with electronics in general and tubes. What are the points to pay attention for?
I heard the Eico HF81 would be Eico's best design. Power output of 10-15 Watt would be more than enough for me. Would it be better to wait until this one passes by on ebay?
