If I understand what you are asking, you are looking to see if the Audio Research mod for the ST70 results in a D75/76 amp. The answer is definitely not. The designs are entirely different. I purchased a ARC Dyna years ago (when they were introduced) and just sold a pair of D76s. The was an intermediate design between them called the Dual 51 (or sometimes just D51). This was not a modified ARC modified ST70, but one could tell the parentage of the D51. The D75/76 designs could not be traced to the mods.If you are interested in modifying the ST70, Audio by Van Alstine @ www.avahifi.com is an excellent source and he has a mod kit for the PAS3X that when done holds its own against all but the best.
I have nothing to do with Van Alstine other than having a SuperPAS3X.
