RE: Tube Purchasing Advice

3. I drive a vintage '67 Corvette, a '67 Shovelhead and a '69 Chevelle Malibu.....because I appreciate the simplicity and quality of they way things used to be built. And it applies to tube equip also.
4. I'll agree with that mostly.
5. Crap! I spent a lot of time and money building rigs and rebuilding quality testers in order to give as exact results as possible to anyone who buys tubes from me. In over 15 years of selling NOS tubes, only a couple times has there been a problem...usually with USPS. I can't think of even one time where there was a return because someone questioned the values or didn't like the tone. Don't lump the good private sellers in with the ones you've had issues with.
