RE: The problem with tube sales based on vintage tester measurements: ...

I went thru this very thing with Chris Heigt(sp?) a bunch of years ago before he passed away. It started out about the value of a TS 5881 on a TV7-D/U and his 539C (I believe). It turned into a very lengthy discussion and education for me. I sent him some 12AU7s and we compared values. Both testers were cal'd very precisely, or as true as we could get them.
Bottom line was that even 2 of the exact same testers, consecutive serial numbers, are going to give different results. So with 2 different testers, which very well may have differing "min acceptable value" no, you won't get the same numbers...ever! Heck..wall voltage will screw everything up!
With all the variables that come into play, it's just not an exact science. As much as our modern brains want it to be.
