I haven't had any luck with ANY JJ tube!
I know others have and that's a good thing for them. I won't consider anything from them. Now, real old Tesla...well that's a different story...love those EL34's!!!
10+ years ago I stocked up on NOS and good used 7591A and lots of NOS 6GM5's so my great grand-kids will be able to use them.
My Fisher KX-200 and Fisher 800B both use a quad of 7591 and I use the KX almost daily. When pulled to test once every 2-3 years...they show almost no wear. Seem like hardy little tubes! I doubt I'll have to change them 10 years from now.
One of these days I'll make a good guitar amp with a pair of 6GM5's to see how they play out.
