Radiotron

Hi, jazz. Radiotron was RCA's name for vacuum tube. Here is the train of thought. If you have an RCA amplifier/radio/transmitter surely
you would want to use genuine 'Radiotrons' for renewal purposes. Blue prints from RCA (say the Deluxe Photophone 845 class A push-pull amps circa 1939) show '845 Radiotron' not just 845. Same for the 866. Helps drive business to RCA. Simple as that. The genuine RCA article - the Radiotron. Happy Radiotron.
