JJ 2A3-40

Hi. I'd go with JJ 2A3-40 without hesitation. They are excellent. JJ did have some probs with pin diameter in their Octal based Beam Power tubes. Jim McShane can quote chapter and verse on this subject. I have been using JJ 300B and 2A3 for years. They are excellent. Long life. Stable bias. Sound is excellent. If you want to beat them you are going to have
to use Emission Labs or Kron tubes. They are much more expensive than
JJ. Just remember to set voltage correctly for 2A3. Happy Listening!
