RE: Possible bad tube?

Hi, pkats. Hum could be a grounding problem in that channel.
Check your interconnects. Could be a filter cap in the power supply but because it shows up in one channel only I would rule this out. Did you recently change around any power cords or replug any AC lines? The hum you hear is most likely 60Hz or 120Hz. Try switching the 12AX7s first. Then 12AT7s. Also try plugging the amp into a circuit not shared by any
other related electronics. Do you have a dealer you can query?
