Hah!!!!
My kids are 4, 7 and 12.
Ever since they were old enough to walk/talk they've seen their Daddy making amps and testing tubes.
They are fully aware of what they are, how they work in our home stereo/guitar amp systems and what their "worth" is.
They love the stuff and they know all the tube gear will someday be theirs.
I'll hazard to say that a lot of us Tube Boobs that have kids, have tried anyway, to pass on the grooviness of tubes.
So no, I don't think it will die. All of the above notwithstanding...musicians will always want tube amps, so a market will be there.
