Good question. Yes, lot's more interest in new production. NOS are getting a bit expensive. Supply/demand, lousy economy I'm pretty sure have a lot to do with this. If more disposable income appears, the NOS sales will increase a bit. But that market, though quite expensive sometimes, has gone thru a correction period also. So now can be a somewhat good time to buy NOS if you shop around and be specific...there are some "deals"!
I actually do like some of the new stuff....Gold Lion KT66, Svet 6L6GC and Svet EL34(both Winged C from late 90's and the NS stuff). I stocked up on those Svets in '97 and glad I did...prices on those are now rising! The KT66 now reside in my GT Dual 75 stereo guitar amp. 530vdc on the plates and 40ma make those sound very, very good! How long they last at those specs...we'll have to see, but for the time being...they are kickin butt!
